Waiting for Opening Ceremony to start.
(The highlight of the 700th Anniversary of the founding of Switzerland was the
World Crossbow Championships. It brought many visitors to the competition.)

Len Remaly in front of the beautiful hand-carved door to the 30m Crossbow range
where we trained before the competition thanks to a friend of Jim Meredith.

30m line. Notice the packed crowd watching the action.

Glenn Dubis always had a crowd behind him as he was the reigning 300m Standard
Rifle Champion and former 300m Free Rifle Champion.

Len Remaly shooting standing. His first shot was a 10 putting him in a tie for first place.
Only 29 more shots to go.

Len Remaly leaning forward to unscrew a bolt from the target. Notice the red wind
flags down range. The ideal position of the wind flags was to have one on each side
of the target while aiming. They needed to be moved between standing and kneeling
so they would be the correct height.
